As we all know, one of the most wonderful things about Booktok is fairying! The founders have realized that if we want to “fairy” someone, wouldn’t it be GREAT if we faired each other in the group? You must “opt in” to this exchange. Why? Because if you do, there is a commitment involved. You must be in a financial position to send ONE book per month, every month of the year. BUT WHAT DOES THIS DO FOR YOU? You might end up with a TON of books! So how does it work? 1) You “opt in” to the cover girls book exchange. 2) EVERY month there will be a drawing among the “opt in” members of the cover girls book exchange. 3) When someone is drawn, the “opt in” members MUST send that recipient a book from their Amazon Wishlist. 4) IF you send that person an additional book, you get an extra entry in the next month’s drawing. But this is not required. 5) WHEN you are the chosen recipient, you will send Ella (in the group) the names of everyone you received a book from. Again, extra entries go into future drawings for each extra book you send. 6) IN ADDITION, if you choose to share your birthday month in the birthday channel of Discord, we will feature you in the entire Cover Girls Book Club (regardless of “opt in” membership” and ask for members to shower you with gifts! IF you are a member of the “the cover girls book exchange”, you will receive FIVE MORE ENTRIES for the next month’s drawing if you send a birthday gift. *This portion is optional for “the cover girls book exchange” members.* BUT your birthday gift must be over and above the regular gift you send to the recipient of that month’s drawing and not a replacement – meaning you will send at least 2 books that month. 7) AGAIN, if you “opt in” you must be willing to send a book every month.
